In 2015 I started a project called ‘The tiny pencil project’ where I painted a small oil painting of a pencil, on a piece of vintage book cover, every day for a year. I then auctioned the painting on instagram. The project was huge success and every single painting sold to collectors all over the world. Every painting was painted from life and friends and strangers started collecting pencils for me and I started receiving pencils in the mail from people all over the world and it was such a joyful project to work on. I then went on to do a painting a day of ‘tiny delicious things’ and that too, was huge success. All in all I painted one painting every day for two years straight.

And now, over 10 years later I still sell my tiny artworks on instagram through The Tiny Stockroom - I do however take days off now and then!
